This image was created from digitally altered bits of my original photo. This black bear was very happy eating berries along the side of the road in Waterton Lakes Park (don't worry, I took the photo while safely in my car). It always amuses me the way these big bears love the tiny little berries.
This print is part of a series of animal collages created from a trip to Waterton-Glacier International Park in Montana and Alberta.
My block prints are a team-effort. Woodblocks are hand-made by my husband. Then I paint the sides, adhere prints, and seal them with a non-toxic sealer.
